In 2019 Prof. Ndulu co-founded FINSYS with a few trusted friends.
He actively chaired FINSYS until February 2021. He used FINSYS as a safe place to reflect, with utmost humility, on his accomplishments in a manner that would enable him to channel his good will and networks toward initiatives that support the development of financial systems that leave no one behind.
He envisioned that such financial systems should be vibrant, convenient, efficient and should positively impact African livelihoods - including women and the youth.

The Late Professor's interests in the company are now carried by his widow, Mariam Lukandamila Ndulu.
